Hotel Accommodations

In many cases your bareboat checkout procedure begins early in the morning and so you will want to arrive at your charter destination the day before.

While many bareboat companies offer the option of sleeping aboard your yacht the night before your charter begins, others do not. In addition, if there are only one or two couples in your group, it may be less costly to rent a hotel room for the night rather than booking a sleep aboard. Or, the marina might not get much breeze, and sleeping aboard a bareboat without air conditioning could be quite uncomfortable (such is the case at Nanny Cay in the BVI, for instance.)

Most of the hotels listed will accept one-night reservations but some have a minimum stay requirement during the holidays or the winter season. Nearly all hotels will take one-night reservations within 30 days of arrival. Most of our listings are not deluxe resort complexes as if you're only staying overnight you will not need or wish to pay for such facilities.
